anyone seen their new announcement??
yeah, towerable is adding ADS to their obbies. not just the normal billboard ads ACTUAL video ads that have to be played to get skip stages. why?
also weird how they only posted it on their blog and not here considering their so active, almost like theyre trying to bury it or something. do we accept this??
This post is misleading. Yes, as described in the blog post that you linked, we are adding ads. But no, they are in no way forced and are completely optional. Additionally, this is a limited test only in Snowflake Stage Tower. We do not believe in forcing ads as that is against our quality principals and also Roblox ToS.
We’re part of a limited roll-out and did not see a good reason to announce this. We reserve the right to share what we like and that’s usually reserved for teasers, game releases, and game updates. In which case, this is not that.
